Underwater Hockey

Underwater Hockey is the supreme anaerobic game. Players wear a diving mask, snorkel, fins, water polo hat and of course a swimming costume. They hold a hockey stick in a gloved hand. There are 10 players in a team but six are allowed in water at one time. The sport was invented in 1954 and first played by four divers from Southsea, England. Underwater hockey enjoys popularity in Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa.
