“Moses’ Miracle” of Jindo 1 “Moses’ Miracle” of Jindo

A French ambassador came to South Korea in 1975 and witnessed a real miracle during his visit to Jindo Island. He wrote about it in a French newspaper, and since then the Moses Miracle became well-known all over the world. During a low tide Jindo is connected with Modo Island for approximately 1 hour. A land path 2.8 kilometers long and 40 meters wide appears as water goes away, and people celebrate a festival of the Moses Miracle. This natural phenomenon attracts tourists from different countries.
